Does Magic still exist?

For Egyptians the scarab was linked to Khepri the god of the rising sun. The ancients believed that the dung beetle was only male in gender, and reproduced by depositing semen into a dung ball. The supposed self-creation of the beetle resembles that of Khepri, who creates himself out of nothing. Moreover, the dung ball rolled by a dung beetle resembles the sun.

Nella tradizione egiza lo scarabeo è associato a Khepri  il dio del sole nascente. Gli antichi credevano che lo scarabeo fosse solo di sesso maschile e che si riproducesse depositando il seme in una pallottola di sterco. La supposta autoriproduzione dello scarabeo assomiglia a quella di Khepri, che ha creato se stesso dal nulla. Inoltre si supponeva creasse il Sole ogni giorno in modo analogo a quello con cui lo scarabeo crea la pallottola di sterco.
