la scorsa settimana c’è stato il più famoso festival di musica italiana, chiamato San Remo, ed ora non riusciamo più a toglierci dalla testa i ritornelli delle canzoni protagoniste . . . canticchiamo sempre e comunque . . . na na na!

Last week there was SanRemo, the so popular festival of  the Italian Song…and now we can’t get off our head the refrains of  the songs . . . we sing forever, anyway. . . na na na!

“Perhaps we  have to start learning from children. From thier way of relating to the world, their attitude to space and time, their mode of interacting with objects. For example, when they play, very often, small children are not really intersted in the objects specially designed to stimulate their interest. They prefer – perhaps paradoxically – any everyday item (a cork, a piece of string, a plastic bottle, a piece of fabric), that is removed from its original function and used as a method of learning and as a tool for the imagination. In this way, children unconsciously but surprisingly create a sort of “ready made”,  They isolate an object from its context and function, and they give it new meaning in the realm of play. This is an important lesson that should be given for more attention and study than in the case today.   In any sort of game, at whatever strage of life, there is a sort of challenge to common sense and ordinary reality. Play requires a shif in approach and the attribution of new functions.  Possibly the object used in play is liberated, with the intention and hope of rendering it useful for other ends and different functions. Perhaps designing for play means above all moving in this direction, proceeding by leaps of the imagination, having the courage to trascend dogmatic positions and canons, and thinking of unusual relationship between form and function…”

quanto era bello una volta vestirsi  da bambini ?? potersi macchiare la maglietta di sugo? o cadere rovinosamente e strappare i pantaloni, ancora meglio, se appena messi ? quanto si arrabbiava la mamma!! oggi invece pare che i bambini non esistano più: i più piccoli sono già vestiti come i grandi! e da grandi come si vestiranno ?? non ci resta che sperare che si vestiranno da bambini!!

As it was funny to get dressed when we were a child Muck up his Shirt with some sauce, fall and damaging the trousers, and it’s still better when we have just put it! As the Mum was angry!!! Today, in the opposite, it would seem that the children do not exist any more: the smallest already get dressed as the adults! And how will get dressed when they will be adults? It doesn’t remain to hope that they will get dressed as children

una canzone canta destinazione paradiso… oggi invece mi sono imbattuta in un pullman direzione “speciale“! purtroppo andavo in direzione opposta e non sono riuscita a salire! ma chissà dove finiva la corsa ?? chissà ?? in ogni caso  la meta era sicuramente “speciale”!
