The Pobednik (Lit: The Victor) monument was set up in the Upper Town of Belgrade Fortress in Belgrade, built to commemorate Serbia’s victory over Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian Empire during the Balkan Wars and the First World War. Built in 1928 and standing at 14 meters high, it is one of the most famous works of Ivan MeÅ¡trović. It is also one of the most visited tourist attractions in Belgrade and the city’s most recognizable landmark.

The Belgrade Zoo “IMPRISONS” 2000 animals and more than 270 species. The zoo has the biggest pride of white lions in the world, many tropical birds and birds of prey. Because of the meaning of the name of Belgrade (“white city”), Vuk Bojović decided to collect albino and white animals.
